Resepi Kuih Koci

Ok...I normally don't send out any recipes tapi sekali sekala apa salahnya berkongsi kan? Kuih Koci ni same sahaja cuma lipatan daun pisang tu berbeza dari orang kampung . I followed nyonya style sikit bab lipatan daun pisang ni. Lihatlah hasilnya...and actually lagi senang.


 Yup...bentuk kon...instead of yang bulat-bulat.

ok...here goes the recipe...in bahasa :)

Resepi Kuih
300 grm tepung beras / tepung gandum
½ sudu kecil garam
1 sudu kecil pandan paste – kalau inginkan warna hijau (*optional ni)
1  cawan santan - ni kene agak-agak sendiri
Daun pisang - pilih lah yang warnanya tak terlampau tua atau muda. Layukan atas api ataupun di kukus dan di sapukan dengan minyak. (bukan minyak urut tau...minyak masak)

Inti kuih
350 grm kelapa MUDA di parut
150 grm gula Melaka
4 /5 sudu besar air atau secukupnya
2 helai daun pandan.

Cara-Cara:
1. Mulakan dengan membuat inti kuih koci. Cairkan gula melaka bersama air dan daun pandan di atas api. Kemudian masukkan kelapa parut dan kacau sehingga sebati dan padamkan api setelah larutan gula hampir kering. Ketepikan inti and biarkan ianya sejuk.
2. Cara untuk membuat doughnya pula, campurkan garam bersama santan dan perlahan-lahan gaulkan bersama tepung beras sedikit demi sedikit. Jikalau mahukan warna hijau, campurkan pandan paste bersama. Gaulkan sehinga boleh di bulat-bulatkan.
3. Cara menyediakan kuih pula, ambil sedikit dough, bulatkan dan kemudian ratakan untuk di letakkannya inti. Perlahan-lahan cantumkan semua bahagian tepi dan di jadikan bulat.
4. Ambil daun pisang, bentukkan seperti kon, sapukan minyak di bahagian dalam dan masukkan dough yang telah di bulatkan perlahan-lahan. Lipat daun pisang dan letakkan di atas kukusan.
5. Susunkan kuih di atas kukusan dan kukus selama 15 minit atas api kecil. (pastikan api tidak terlampau besar, jika tidak, kuih akan pecah.)

Sugar Cookies

I Love Love Love Royal Icing. This is one of my favourite skills that I would like to master the most. However, lots of people are much into fondant. Anyway...this cookie was made for my friend's friend baby shower that turned out to be my friend. Such A small world after all.

Cookies price start from RM 2 to RM 4. Depending on the size (2" to 6") of the cookie and the complexity of the design.

Smurf cupcake

I wish Edible image is cheaper in this country but it is not. So....for your info...I have to squeeze 32 smurf  into one A4 sheet for printing. Now my wish is to have my own printer so I can print anything I like everyday. :)

Anyways...this cake is a new recipe. Chocolate Cupcake. Frosting is Whipped Cream and if you noticed I used my royal icing to make the word smurf. Unfortunately.. few broke into pieces by the time my customer came.

Price for each cuppies starts from RM 3.50 each.
