Party Labels / Printables


I am now back doing some designing for someone else. If you happen to need my expertise to do party label for your loved ones, let me know. Price starts at RM 60 for 1 hour job. Looking at the picture, I finish it all within an hour.

Party Raya Dessert


Some pictures that I remember to snap. Dessert yang lain semua tak snap sebab tak cukup masa. Sekejap je dah bulan 8 dan tak lama lagi hujung tahun. Mudah mudahan dapat berjumpa dengan ramadhan tahun hadapan. Above is just a simple chocolate cake with melted chocolate ganache.

Wedding Cake Sikin


Wedding Cake for Sikin. I remember she ordered her engagement cake in June and a week before the special day, I had my operation and poor girl didn't get her cake. To my surprised, she asked me to make her wedding cake and I said yes. I made this cake for her with her own choice of colour and design. I hope she is happy with it. 


The cake is a vanilla cake with strawberry filling in between. 


Flowers are from gum paste and royal icing. I wish and wish and wish to bake more wedding cake in the future. It is so much fun!


All good to go for her wedding. Hope she had a blast. Congrats Sikin!. May Allah SWT  blessed you always. 

Oh Korean Food!

My latest food crave is Korean food. It is rare to find halal korean food in Malaysia and I just hope they will introduce more of it soon. I find it very healthy and delicious. They really know how to marinate their grill beef to perfection. Mind you...One Serving is not enough. 

My favourite Koren restaurant is in KLCC and we will make it a point a monthly food outing to this place. 
My son loves the rice and as for my hubby and I...we eat and finish almost everything we ordered. Sedappppppppp. Price wise...mmm....a bit on the higher side but worth it because I hardly find delicious grill beef anywhere else. 

I didn't take much picture that I ate because I actually forgot to snap it. busy bee eating. 
Will remind myself to snap more picture the next time around okay.

Strawberry jam

Belah Strawberi..up to you nak belah kecil atau besar. Kalau kecil....buah akan hancur bersama gula bila dan masak. Kalau belah besar, you can still bite the fruits bila dah masak. 

Assalam all, maaf dah berhari hari tak update my blog. Busy baking, beraya, bermarketing dan berbagai. Raya open house tak habis habis and alhamdulillah murah lagi rezeki kita semua. Semoga tahun yang akan datang akan lebih meriah. 

Cerita pasal open house ni...tadi pergi ke supermarket and saw beautiful strawberries. Alang alang terus ambil...actually buah ni memang masam and I never really like eating it pun. After flipping through some recipe books, ternampak pula recipe buat jem buah. 

Straight away belah strawberi ni dan masak. 
It is very easy as A B C

Masukkan gula. Gula harus sama berat dengan berat buah. Masakkan dengan api sederhana. 
Bila gula dah mengelegak seperti gambar di atas, masukkan setengah sudu besar  butter untuk menghilangkan buah yang ada. Kecilkan api dan masak hingga gula menjadi pekat. Padamkan api dan letakkan jem di dalam bekas yang bersesuaian.

Barbie Doll Cake


Assalam and Selamat Hari Raya everybody. Semoga hari raya kali ini dapat merapatkan lagi silaturahim antara sesedara kita semua. Maaf zahir dan batin dari saya jikalau ada salah dan silap. Nak sangat post ucapan selamat hari raya hari tu tapi tak kesempatan. Extremely busy in the kitchen. 

First day raya we all celebrate di KL sahaja and then head to my husband's place on the following day. As for myself I love ziarah my hubby's cousins and aunties sebab jarang jarang jumpa. Bila jumpa dapat berbual panjang. Mula lah rasa syukur dengan apa yang ada. 

Pulang ke KL ...we were stuck in the traffic for 7 hours but we play it cool lah konon...so we just enjoy the journey. Once reach KL sahaja.dah plan nak buat makan makan for my family, cousins and neighbour. Maaf  tak buat open house macam tahun lepas because I couldn't mingle around properly. Tahu tahu je yang datang dah nak pulang. So this year make it batch by batch.

Finally kitchen is open. I have few cakes to make this raya and sugar cookies as well. Alhamdulillah. Below is the first cake order during raya. The birthday girl wanted her own barbie...and yeah...barbie is always the prettiest of all.

OK...sorry for the lighting. Told you...I am extremely busy. No time to edit or adjust the lighting etc. 

Please ignore the hair do. Birthday girl wants it that way. hihi

I hope Vera Wang sees this dress and loved it. 

Btw...the cake is vanilla flavour with chocolate filling in between.

Disaster strike....fondant fell off due to using the doll. Doll can't be used....and I have to make drastic change. 

I changed it to a different doll with a black colour hair. Add a huge flower on the shoulder.

Alhamdulillah it works...but I miss barbie. :(

Once I'm done with barbie cake...I rushed and make this small cake for  my niece.  None stop baking and cleaning from the day I got back from kampung. hihihi. Anyways...Selamat Hari Raya again. Will update you more on my coming cakes.  Assalam.

Wajik Wan Pilah

Santan dan gula melaka...make sure gula melaka yang ori . ( Orang pilah panggil gula anau)

Minggu lepas sedang berborak dengan sepupu ku....teringin datin teringat pula wajik arwah wan buat. Rasa sayu dan sebak pun ada sebab kali ni adalah kali pertama wan tiada bersama kami semua. Arwah wan ni pandai buat wajik, dodol, lemang, kuih sirat and also kuih halwa maskat (macam turkish delights la)
Periuk tembaga pun ada dan sangat sesuai kalau nak buat kuih halwa maskat tu. 

Bebalik pada cerita wajik....so I decided to call ibu . She agreed to make since I told her I want to learn to make wajik. 

Pulut yang di kukus. Ada juga yang di tanak...but I prefer wajik keras...(berderik pulut nya)....so kukus lah kita ye. 

Masukkan juga gula pasir...kacau...dan kacau

dan kacau.....masukkan daun pandan juga. Kacau gula ni sampai pekat..which will take almost 1 1/2 hours. Depending banyak mane gula dan santan. Jangan masukkan pulut semasa gula Tidak lagi pekat kerana pulut akan jadi terlampau kembang...(me don't like) .

Bila gula dah pekat keluarkan daun pandan dan masukkan pulut. Kecilkan api. Kacau sampai mengelegak...kacau dan kacau. 

Padamkan api dan masukkan dalam loyang. hihi...sedappppppppppp. 
Maaf sebab tak dapat beri sukatan resepi sebab since this is my first time buat tapi pulut tu ibu yang buat...dan semua sukatan telah dia buat terdahulu oleh ibu. Once I make it on my own...insyaAllah...will share it with you. Meanwhile...you can try on your own...sebab bahannya sikit sahaja cuma kuantitinya yang banyak. Gula pasir...gula melaka, santan , daun pandan dan pulut. 

Rasa macam nak je jual wajik next year tapi tak tahan lama kalau tak letak dalam peti ais. Kene lah simpan dalam perut cecepat. :)

Bunga Samperit


Raya is coming..and guess wat...I don't have my own raya cookies. Dalam gambar ni sebenarnya untuk diri sendiri...tapi last min ade je tak cukup. Lucky thing buat biskut ni tak susah cuma nak menekan nekan tu yang ambil masa. 


I just realised if using butter untuk buat samperit ni memang hampir hancur di buatnya...terlampau rapuh . No wonder ramai yang gunakan marjerin..and yes..marjerin is the best for this recipe. By the way...kepada customer yang tak henti henti mengorder samperit ni...I thank you all. Didn't know this cookie become a big hit for this raya. InsyaAllah ...I will make and sell more next year around with cheaper price since tak nak pakai butter dah. :)

Berbuka Jepun


Hari ni berbuka di restoran jepun. Kisahnya konon tak nak makan makanan yang berat ...yang banyak lemak. Sebab tu lah ke restoran jepun ni. Buffet style. If you look closely..you can see salmon sashimi in each plates. Yum. Makan di sini memang worth it and this is not the first time I come here for my japanese food. 


Maaf sebab tak ambil banyak gambar since we were all famish at that time. Dok fokus makan. hihi. Anyways....if you happen to eat japanese buffet...scout around...ada few places in KL yang sedap. :)

Corn Flakes Madu


Assalam semua, Satu Syawal hampir tiba.  Sudah hampir sebulan berpuasa, cepat masa berlalu. Pejam celik....cookies untuk di jual pun dah siap. Sekarang my time to bake my own raya cookies. Cookies yang paling senang dan sedap untuk raya ialah cornflakes. hihi. 

Bahan bahan untuk cornflakes cookies ni senang sahaja. Masukkan butter, gula dan madu dalam periuk kecil dan masak atas api kecil. Pasti kan sentiasa kacau bahan bahan tersebut. Padam api setelah butter dan gula larut. Sukatan butter, gula dan madu bergantung kepada masing-masing. Sama ada nakkan manis atau buttery. 

Dalam bekas berlainan, gaulkan cornflakes dan almond slices or nips bersama. Perlahan lahan masukkan larutan gula tadi ke atas cornflakes. Pecah pecahkan cornflakes untuk menyenangkan kerja ke dalam acuan. 


Gunakan sudu  sukatan untuk memasukkan cornflakes ke dalam acuan

taburkan manik warna ke atas cornflakes sebelum bakar. 

Rupa cornflakes madu yang dah siap. Selamat mencuba.
