Butterscotch Cupcake / Dates Cupcake?

Dear friends...I just made myself another cupcake. Something different and a bit of caramel flavour for the frosting. This cake is made from dates and brown sugar. Smell so good and the taste is simply delicious.

For your info, this cake supposedly to be some sort like a candy/ nougat like but after mixing it wrongly, the whole thing became a cake ...which is not so bad.  I like it because it is not too sweet and with the walnut, it tasted much better...more like a fruit cake.

So moist and lovely. Great for Sunday evening tea with friends. The 2nd time around, I want to add a lil bit of chocolate chips, nutmeg and vanilla essence. If you want to give it a try, let me know. Especially for Hari Raya where Kurma senang nak dapat...dan sedap dimakan. Something different for this year around.
